We’re excited to announce support for internet accountability (aka websites visited) and internet filtering for iPhone and iPad across the entire device. To get started, go to the device settings page and click the “Add new device” button.
Why not screenshot accountability?
Apple doesn’t allow apps to capture screenshots of other apps without requiring a horrendous user experience (you’d have to regrant the permission each time the screen turns on, and there’s no way to force the user to do this). Any app claiming to support screenshot accountability for iOS does so by providing a browser app, and screenshots are then only captured of that browser app but not any other apps. We feel this is extremely ineffective and provides a false sense of accountability.
