At Truple, we pride ourselves on supporting as many platforms as possible. However, as technology evolves, so do our apps. Unfortunately, this means that we can’t support older operating systems forever.
After careful consideration, we’ve made the tough decision to discontinue updates for the Truple app running on certain platforms. While you can still use the old versions of the Truple app, please note that we won’t be providing any further updates or bug fixes for them.
Why We’re Discontinuing Support
As time passes, older versions of operating systems stop receiving security updates. This can leave your computer vulnerable to attacks and data breaches. Additionally, code libraries we depend on in our apps stop supporting those versions as well. This makes it difficult for us to ensure that the Truple app remains secure and up-to-date on those platforms.
Which Platforms Are Affected?
We will no longer be providing updates for the Truple app running on the following platforms:
- MacOS 10.12 or older
- Windows 7 or 8
What Should You Do?
If you’re currently using an affected platform, we strongly recommend that you upgrade your operating system to one that is still receiving security updates. This will help keep your computer and your data safe.
If you choose to continue using the old versions of the Truple app on these platforms, please be aware that we won’t be able to provide any support if you encounter issues or bugs.
Where to Download the Old Versions
If you decide to continue using the outdated version of Truple, you can download it from the following links:
- MacOS 10.12 or older: https://mac.truple.io/macos10.11.macos10.12/prod/truple.macos.installer.pkg
- Windows 7 or 8: https://windows.truple.io/windows7.windows8/prod/truple.installer.v2.exe We’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but we believe that discontinuing support for these older platforms is necessary to ensure that we can continue to provide a secure and up-to-date Truple app for our users. Thank you for your understanding.
