The Screenshot accountability app includes support for the Robust Filter, so you no longer need to use the Truple Web Filter app unless your device doesn’t support the Robust Filter (requires Android 9 or above). Go to the filters page to see instructions for setting it up.

Several months ago we launched the Truple web filter for android–a lightweight DNS based filter that blocks pornographic content. Since that time we’ve been working to improve the filter. The filter is now one of the most advanced filters in the Google Play store, and offers features such as:
- 2 prebuilt filters that both block over 2 million pornographic websites
- Custom filtering of sites that are problematic for you
- App blocking, with known pornographic apps blocked by default
- Alerts over email whenever the filter is shutdown, unlocked, or locked (note: only the email alert, and not the sms alert are included with the screenshot accountability subscription)
- Filter locking using a pin or delayed unlock
- Automatic VPN restart if another android VPN tries to kill the Truple filter
- Filters across the entire device, including all apps and browsers*
- and more
* Apps that use a proxy connection can bypass the filter. We have blocked all the ones we could find for you, but if you find others that aren’t blocked please let us know.
As of today, you can now access all of the premium features of the Web Filter for free with your Truple Screenshot Accountability subscription.
