Truple Service Impacted by Cloudflare Outage

Partial recovery underway – remaining issues tied to Cloudflare

Current Status (as of November 18, 2025)

We want to let all customers know that the service issues many of you have experienced today are not caused by Truple itself, but are the result of a widespread Cloudflare outage that began earlier today.

Cloudflare is one of our infrastructure providers, and when their services are impaired, it directly affects parts of Truple (specifically, our end-to-end encryption infrastructure).

What we’re seeing right now

  • The situation has improved significantly compared to earlier today.
  • Many customers have reported that their issues have fully resolved and screenshots are flowing normally again.
  • However, Cloudflare is still reporting ongoing incidents on their status page.

We believe that once Cloudflare fully resolves their remaining issues, any lingering Truple problems will clear up automatically without any action required on our end.

What you can do

  • Check the official Cloudflare status page for the latest updates:
    https://www.cloudflarestatus.com
  • Most users do not need to reset their end-to-end (e2ee) passcode. As Cloudflare recovers, functionality is returning on its own.
  • If you’re still experiencing problems after Cloudflare shows “All Services Operational,” feel free to reach out to support@truple.io and we’ll be happy to help.

We sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience this has caused. We know how important reliable monitoring is to you, and we’re monitoring Cloudflare’s recovery closely.

Thank you for your patience and understanding—Truple’s own systems are healthy, and normal service will resume as soon as our upstream provider is fully back online.
